...Viveca Lindfors.
Just watched her in a Morris Engel film called, "Weddings and Babies," she's so adorable and natural as the bohemian girlfriend of a wedding photographer that wants to make films. She goes barefooted, wear clunky jewelery and is good with babies, but would like one of her own. Engel has always been a huge inspiration to me after seeing his 1953 film "Little Fugitive," in Dallas at a film festival. FrancoisTruffaut wrote the film inspired him to make his classic, "The 400 Blows." I used all the inspiration I got to lay down in bed, eats chips and think about his work. Some people know how to use inspiration in productive ways. Maybe I should try not to get inspired anymore.
Lindfors, I imagine from loving all the performances of hers I've seen, would be a cool person to hangout with and hear stories from, she really did a lot of things. I always thought she looked beautiful even when she became a beautiful old lady. My friend Aaron knows her best from "Exorcist 3" as the mental patient that dresses up as a nurse.
