Yesterday, I found I have lost 6 pounds! Which is good, cause none of the thongs come in my size. Been eating at an "all you can eat meat" place. Meat, meat, poultry, meat... The place used to creep me out, but I like it now! It makes me feel young going there, because I'm the only one without a walker or dragging an oxygen tank behind me. As I was digging into some meat, or was it poultry... I started noticing the music playing. I never heard the music before, I guess with all the wheezing and bones rattling, it all got drowned out, but I heard, Keane, "Is It Any Wonder " and The Shins, "New Slang" playing back to back on their sound system. The Manager walked over and asked, "How's everything?" like they do with that "must do this, don't really want to know" look. I complemented him on their music channel choice and he said, "Thanks! We play it so the old people will get annoyed and leave and not stick around all day grazing." |
