I was starting up a Time Machine...

...on my MacBook Pro and using an external harddrive my Technical Director, Steve Kellener purchased for me when my internal harddrive just happened to fry. I hope everything was saved! I have my doubts. I have another external harddrive that holds all that I am, all that I have created, but it too has ceased to be.

I'm currently using my old mac that is so slow there's a 5 second delay on every action, sometimes more. As I type this the letters are far behind me in time. It's truly as if I am traveling through ripples in time.

This old mac has a few things saved on iTunes and one is the great "City on the Edge of Forever" episode of Star Trek. I've seen it a million times, but it always makes me happy. When I watch it, it makes me think about being a writer, not sure why? It certainly makes me think of Harlan Ellison, it also strangely makes me think of Jackie Collins, because of her awesome sister, Joan being in the show.

Weird, I know.

But I think Jackie rocks! She's as much an inspiration to me as Harlan Ellison is, maybe more. She'd be more fun at a party than Joan or Harlan, and I've been at a party with him and he was hilarious. Jackie just is so cool and she'd have great gossip.
